AIM Optimal oncological resection in cancers of the lower rectum often requires a permanent colostomy. However, some patients colostomy may have negative impact on health-related quality life (HRQoL). The Colostomy Impact (CI) score is simple questionnaire that identifies with stoma dysfunction impairs HRQoL by dividing into 'minor' and 'major' CI groups. This aim this study to evaluate construct discriminative validity, sensitivity, specificity reliability internationally, making it applicable for screening identification stoma-related impaired HRQoL. METHOD was translated agreement WHO recommendations.
